The Bee Gees were already established hit makers in the U.S. and the U.K. when the group became an unstoppable musical force in 1975. The double-disc contains selections from three of the Bee Gees' studio albums: 1975's Main Course (certified gold), 1976's Children Of The World (certified platinum) and 1979's Spirits Having Flown (certified platinum), as well as the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack (1977), which has sold more than 25 million copies worldwide. The collection assembles essential listening including "How Deep Is Your Love," "Stayin' Alive," "Night Fever," "Too Much Heaven," "Tragedy" and "Love You Inside Out"—a run of six consecutive 1 hits within a year and a half. BEE GEES GREATEST also features the 1 hits "You Should Be Dancing" and "Jive Talkin'" plus the Top 10 singles "Nights On Broadway" and "Love So Right." This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever, the film that launched the career of John Travolta, the dance craze of the late ‘70s, and the massive resurgence of the Bee Gees—one of the greatest R&B acts of the ‘60s and early ‘70s.
