Where were you born and raised? Miami, FL. My family came from Cuba in the early 60sWhen did you realize you could sing?I always loved to sing. Always! I remember being about five or six years old, and locking myself in my bedroom so I could learn the words to my favorite songs and sing them. It was absolutely my most favorite thing in the world to do! I guess I realized I COULD sing when I was accepted into my high school show choir.Do you have any formal singing training?The show choir, and a few private classes as part of my performing arts degree. Not much, though.Other talents: I love to dance, compose songs, read and write poetry, and tawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwlk!Which song do you most enjoy singing and why?I love to sing 'Malo' by Bebe. It's incredibly strong and passionate in its defense of women.If you couldn't make a career out of music, what other path would you take?My path will be in arts and entertainment somehow. Perhaps a TV talk show host.
