It is with this skill that kyo has reached demanding stages like the Folklore Festival de lbague in 1994 and the Green Moon Festival in 1992, new known as the Crab Festivall. Un that occasion KYO (formerly known as Black Star), eamed the price for best new band. They apears again in 1.998 now formally KYO, Kool Young& Original Leaded by William Robert Francis Bowie "Billy". Kyo Finally reach the musical Market world whit there first album tiltle Puro Bla Bla Bla album that reach all the top 10 firsts places in the country, taking in account, that this was a very special album whit only 5 songs, fusion of Jamaican Dub Today known by the latin music world as Reggaeton and there own particular style of making music, KYO made much of this album performing great concerts full of energy and dynamism that have being there strength in all live performance, as they say Public are first. 1999 to 2000 was just simply KYO Time. For sure, KyO is a band with a future ahead to be successful. 2001 had work out to be a very profitable year for the band, taking into consideration that the second album titled KYO ha Llegado reach the Central American markets strongly . Also the band experimented the recording of their first song in Portuguese. For the spring there shared stage with the Wailers Band earning their attention and their recognition of there talent, quality and potential to been doing excellent Reggae Music. For last, in the month of December, K-y-o have had one more time the opportunity to gather more than 10.000 thousand people in the Archipelago. Finishing the 2001 things for the band on a suddenly start breaking up whit the recording company and they start having internal problems, situation that take them to take quick decision, and then they record 2 single, KYO IS BACK for the orly 2002, both then this dint work out to be anything great, and KYO crashes internally as Billy said, this prove they are still humans and everything is not perfect, For the end of that ear the group front line had the opportunity to make a little trip to play over at the Asian world which was looking to be the coming back of the group, both seems to be that wasnt the time for them, surprise... Billy came back from Asia alone Is KYO FINISH ? that was WHAT everybody was thinking&Billy him self confess he was afraid of this . Both when everything was looking like there was done. Billy, Eddy one of the singers and Sammy, they decided that Kyo could not die and then they come to gather and start the show again, I june 2003 there was a lot of great performance again, and quickly they recover there orig and decided no bring there music back to every one. They record there third Album both this time in there own studio, and using all there good an bad experience, and there new learning they produce this new album call Experient-all, title given, in honor to there new studio taking account that would be the first time they handle a Digital recording studio alone ..well they did it, they write, Arrange, and produce this Album, also mix it and master it, (is a very special album, have a lot more mature and fill whit lot of unique sounds, Feelings, and Fusion. From the Jamaican Dance hall up to Texas country music&.we love the Jamaican Musician, like Buju, Shaggy, Super cat, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, Elephant man, Chaca demos, Apache Indian and a lot more.. so we try to learn a little from them and paste it in our style ) the first single of this album is call Addiction and it promise to be a top song in the international music world, Experiment-all will be reaching stores and radio station in January 2006. Whit more than 15 musicals articles including Billboard, 30 tv magazines participations, 3 album, 2 singles and hundreds of live shows, there is no doubt that KYO is the most important Dance hall Reggae Group of Colombia And looking forward to be one of the best of the world.
