Three Venezuelans, an Ecuadorian, and a Mexican walk into a bar… but this is no joke. This is Origen. They are here to make you the newest member of their "familia". Origen's family is as diverse as the band members themselves. You'll fit right in if you enjoy hard driving catchy rock songs, mid tempo groovy sing-a-longs, or slow jams of stadium proportions. Origen's music has one common point of origin: infectious pop.
The rhythmic roots of "la familia" are anchored by Tonio on drums, and driven deep by Ruben on bass. This solid foundation is built on by Hector on guitar and Carlos on keyboards. The matriarch of the family is Mirs, in the front and center lead vocals position. However, this family is multi-talented. Don't be surprised if Carlos or Mirs pick up a guitar, or Tonio jumps on the congas for a more acoustic experience. Whether you catch them "en vivo" at an intimate South Beach venue or playing for thousands, you'll recognize the subtle influences of U2, Bon Jovi, Gun&Roses, and Coldplay, right along those of Maná, Soda Stereo, King Chango, and Ricardo Arjona.

Nuevas entrevistas, prensa, etc
Tiempo que no paso por aqui a escribir, estamos bastante ocupados grabando el disco y trabajando duro para que podamos ya salir a conocerlos a todos! En este momento estamos grabando dos temas nuevos que estan sonando excelente! Les queria escribir porque para los no que nos han visto, tenemos el video de una entrevista que salio al aire el Domingo (24 de Junio) por la cadena Telemundo (lo pueden ver aca abajo). Tambien, estamos super contentos porque el periodico Sun-Sentinel escribio una reseña sobre nosotros (mirar abajo). Tambien, hemos sido premiados en GarageBand.com! Eligieron Perdon como la cancion de la semana en la seccion latina, ademas de eso ganamos los siguientes reconocimientos: Cancion de la Semana, Cancion del Dia, Mejor Voz (masculina), Mejor Voz (femenia), Mejor Guitarra, Mejor Percusion, Mejor Ritmo, Mejor Produccion, y Mejor Melodia De verdad, de parte de toda la banda, muchisimas gracias a todos por ese apoyo que nos han dado, les pido perdon por no responder los comentarios estos ultimos dias, estamos trabajando muy duro para brindarles un buen album. Hola a todos, Wow, han pasado tantas cosas que no se por donde empezar. Primero les quiero decir que las grabaciones van fenomenal, esta sonando excelente! Estamos muy felices por eso y no podemos aguantar las ganas que ya terminemos para compartir el material con todos! Los queremos invitar a que escuchen la entrevista que nos hicieron los muchachos de BinaryStarCast.com, esta muy buena. La noche del Viernes 23 de Marzo, salimos en radio en Miami en el programa de Eli Bravo (famoso locutor Venezolano), fue increíble conversar con Eli. Para los que no pudieron escuchar, pronto vamos añadir el 'hipervínculo'. Gracias a Eli y el equipo de Radio Global! Asegúrense que busquen la próxima edición de Boom!
